Well, my high school best friend Rurun who came from Kutoarjo with her first son and maid sent me to Ambarukmo Plaza (Amplas). Passing by Gramedia Ampas, I said to her: "Run, stop, I need to take a picture of that banner to blog it!"

Banner di luar Gramedia Plaza Ambarukmo (outside Gramed Amplas)
Then we went to Food Court to eat first (empek-empek, Indonesian fish cake, not bad). At 5.30pm I was heading down to Gramedia again to check the preparation and chit-chat with my publisher's promo team. Surprisingly, Stella Duce 1 alumni (my high school) -- gathered and we chit chat haha... I signed one
Sydney Darling Harbour novel bought by one of my "seniors" -- well we were separated by years - and met thru the Stece mailing list.

Persiapan di Amplas, ada door prize dari Penerbit Andi

Then there was door prize for those who can answer the questions correctly, e.g. what is the title of First Book of Schoolaholic Princess (The Miracle Boys). The second: Romansa Singapura. The third: Simfoni Cinta.

Salah satu penanya tips menulis dan menang door prize juga

Penanya yang lain *udah lupa haha*

Diserbu wartawan *walah*
Frankly speaking, the journalists (radio reporters: Yasika FM and one of my ex schoolmate -- forgot the radio's name plus Bernas - newspaper) were more aggressive than what I expected. I am used to interviews (thanks to Pak Harry - Mediacorps, who sent me to be interviewed many times even in NHK Japan), usually the questions asked are easy to answer and non-intimidating. But those questions I faced in my own hometown were tough... Fortunately, since I know what I am writing for -- I am writing with a cause -- good purpose, I can answer all questions tactfully.
Yes, I write Schoolaholic Princess to share my experience with teenagers in Indonesia, why I could enjoy very much my school life in Indonesia. It's motivating by means of story-telling.
to be continued with video -- if I can spare my time editing it over the weekend
